HICKEY, Elizabeth (Betty) Retired civilian member #88893, Switchboard clerk.  Died Jan 1, 2013, 84 years of age.  Visitation at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2-6 p.m. The funeral service will be held on January 7th at 11 a.m. at the Giffen-Mack Chapel with interment to follow at St. Margaret's In The Pines Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scarborough General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.       

GOPAUL, Elizabeth, 88286 - Retired civilian member, 71 years.  Died January 2, 2013.  Further details to follow.


PENROSE, Bill - Retired member, PC 220. #3 Traffic & 31 Division.   Passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Thursday, January 3, 2013.  Bill retired after 27 years with the Metro Toronto Police and he was also a former member of the OPP/ The Commissioner's Own Pipes and Drums Band. Friends may call at the Durham Legion (271 Bruce Street North, Durham/Municipality of West Grey) on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 12:00 - 2:30 p.m., where a celebration of  life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, London Health Sciences Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family. JONES, Barry Leslie, Retired Member #86802, Records Bureau, 70 years.  Father-in-Law of Mark Bradley, Property Courier #86541, Property & Evidence Management Unit.  Died Saturday, January 12, 2013.  


ROZANSKI, Richard Retired member # 4296, 52 Division, died on January 7, 2013 in St. Michael's Hospital age 64 years.  


ALEXANDER, Irvine Charles - Retired S/Inspector 39 years service, Homicide Squad, Trial Preparation, in his 90th year, father of Bruce Alexander, 86498, HQ Print Shop.  Served oveseas WWII as Liberator pilot.  Died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Ontario.  


GRAHAM, Harold Vernon (Bob) - Retired Sergeant #1008, West Traffic - 42 year Veteran of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Department.   On January 19, 2013 in his 86th year.. 


WILSON, Roy Albert - retired Sergeant 4396, retired 1975.  Born May 9, 1927, Died January 20, 2013.  
Visitation - Thursday, January 24, 2013 - 6pm to 9 pm at Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 589 River Rd. West, Wasaga Beach, Ontario.
Funeral Service Friday, January 25, 2013 at l:00 pm at the Wasaga Beach Rec Plex, 1724 Mosley St., Hall "A" in Wasaga Beach.
Roy Wilson developed 'Blinky' The Talking Police Car before his retirement and was well known in the Georgian Triangle and internationally as the first and only Town Crier for the Town of Wasaga Beach.  He was a member of the Georgian Triangle Breakfast Group of Retired Police Officers.

GREER, Richard - Retired PC 6155, Bail & Parole Unit.  Passed away On Sunday January 27, 2013.  Age 72 years, retired in 2001


DESJARDINS, Wayne (Duke).  Retired member.  Died January 30, 2013 in Manitoba.  



MACKIE, Andrew (Andy) former Metro Toronto Member.  Passed away on Monday January 7, 2013.  Andy started his policing career at the age of 17 for 10 years in Toronto, transferring to Haldimand Norfolk Regional Police, until taken over by the O.P.P.  He  retired as an O.P.P. officer after 38 years in the Policing Service.
